I will be conducting a workshop on Wednesday July 10th from 2 pm-5 pm at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, also know as the SLO Hothouse, in downtown SLO.
I'll cover the following topics: understand the Profit and Loss (P&L) structure, know your revenue and cost drivers, develop assumptions, translate assumptions into an Excel-based financial model and use the plan to run your business. I will utilize an example company to walk through the thought process and build an Excel model to convey some basic modeling techniques.
